Started in the year 2022 in November, we Shri Punneth Punnyashrama old age home provide a hearty service to the old aged with great care and concern, trying to bring a difference in their lives. We provide accommodation, nursing care, food, and various other facilities to the residents, making every effort to create a comfortable, safe, happy, and dignified lifestyle for the elders. Our aim is to keep the seniors active and positive. We do everything in our power to bring some happiness and joy to their daily lives. We try to keep the environment calm and peaceful, so the elderly remain tension free. We occasionally arrange trips for them to nearby places so that they can have a change of mind. We take the utmost care of their daily needs. Each of our team members leaves no stone unturned when it comes to caring for and serving the golden age. Over the years, we have been successful in implementing these ideas with dedicated efforts to support the elders and run a non-profit organization for them. With sincere and huge goodwill, we at Puneeth Punnyashrama Old Age Home have created a friendly environment for the senior citizens, fulfilling their requirements to make them feel secure and present in a homely environment. In our NGO, we organize monthly health camps dedicated to providing medical checkups for elders. These camps offer essential healthcare services to our community members, ensuring they receive necessary screenings and medical attention. Additionally, we distribute medicines during these camps and emphasize the importance of consistent medication adherence for maintaining good health. Our goal is to promote wellness and educate individuals on proactive healthcare practices.
At our old age home, we prioritize the health and well-being of our residents by organizing regular visits to nearby hospitals for checkups. These routine checkups are essential for monitoring their health and addressing any medical concerns promptly. Our dedicated staff ensures that each resident receives proper care and attention during these hospital visits. Transportation and coordination are arranged to make the process seamless and comfortable for our elderly members. By facilitating these regular checkups, we aim to promote preventive healthcare and ensure the longevity and quality of life for our elderly residents. This proactive approach to healthcare helps in early detection and management of health issues.

At this time, Pampayya Swamy, a member of Puneet Punyashram, honored and respected them by giving them a Buddha idol. Speaking later, BMTC Vice President Nikhit Raj Maurya said that we used to hear about Puneet Punyashram, but when we look at the current reality, it is unfortunate that we, as human beings, are pushing our parents, who gave us our birth and life, to such an old age home. When I realized the points that the staff here are already saying that this ashram is a karma bhoomi, I felt that Puneeth Punyashram is not a karma bhoomi but a holy place. Puneeth Punyashram in Sindhanur is a holy place as well as a temple of humanity. The donors who help and cooperate with such a temple are the real devotees. I will make a sincere effort to provide facilities from our family and the government system to Puneeth Punyashram, which is serving the state honestly as an example in this selfish world that I call mine, in the coming days. Nagaveni S Patil said that Puneeth Punyashram, as a school of human humanity between birth and death, has shown the humanity of human religion to the society.
